Though all remaining Monday Night Football’s will feature one game, the NFL decided they wanted to start the season off this year with a double-feature. With this being the first week of games fully comprised of first-stringers can we really complain how late it will keep us up tonight?
In the first game, the Redskins take on the Steelers at 7:00 p.m. ET in Landover, Maryland at FedEx Field.
With a few of their starters out due to suspension, can the Steelers rally around stars, Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown, and claim their first victory of the season or will the Redskins new CB Josh Norman and young QB Kirk Cousins keep their composure against the often rabble-rousing team in black & gold and pull out the win at home?
In the second game, 49ers take on the Rams at 10:15 p.m. ET in Santa Clara, California at Levi’s Stadium.
Will the 49ers be able to contain the second year RB, Todd Gurley, and claim a victory behind Blaine Gabbert, or will the Rams defense have another 49er QB sitting on his butt often?
Let the discussion begin!
