NFL Week 2 Bengals at Steelers: Thursday practice and injury report

The Bengals and Steelers returned to practice on Thursday as they prepare for their Week 2 matchup in Pittsburgh.

Adam Jones, who was limited yesterday was a full participant for the Bengals on Thursday while Carlos Dunlap was still limited with shoulder and toe injuries. It's not a great sign that he's now been limited for two days in a row.

Pat Sims didn't practice for the second straight day, which makes his Week 2 availability very much in question. It seems DeShawn Williams may make his debut on the active list on Sunday.

James Wright took today off, which happened last Thursday, too. It's believed the Bengals are having him take it easy on his surgically repaired knee. But, there's no cause for concern there.

As we know, Tyler Eifert won't play on Sunday and could be out for a few more weeks, too.

As for positive news, Darqueze Dennard participated in his second full practice and looks likely to play on Sunday in Pittsburgh.

As for the enemy, the Steelers saw Ryan Shazier return to practice, though on a limited basis today. Meanwhile, Cody Wallace was demoted a non-participant after fully practicing yesterday. Otherwise, the Steelers' injury report went unchanged.
