Super Bowl 51 odds: Bengals remain steady heading into Week 2

Despite a quality win over the Jets, the Bengals did not see their Super Bowl odds increase this week.

The Cincinnati Bengals remain one of the NFL's best value picks in terms of Super Bowl odds.

Following their Week 1 win over the New York Jets, the Bengals look like a very dangerous team to come out of the AFC and make it to Super Bowl 51. However, when the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook released updated Super Bowl odds following Week 1, Cincinnati's odds did not change.

The Bengals, who opened the year at 12-1 odds before beginning the 2016 season at 20-1, still remain at 20-1 heading into Week 2. Those are good for the ninth-best odds of winning it all this season

The eight clubs ahead of Cincinnati are the New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, and New York Giants.

Most of those teams make sense, but the Texans and Giants?

This week, the Bengals (20-1) and Steelers (10-1) will feature the second-best matchup in terms of odds to win the Super Bowl. Only the Packers (6-1) vs Vikings (20-1) will be a better matchup.

Elsewhere in the AFC North, the Baltimore Ravens are now tied with the Bengals at 20-1 odds. It seems like a fast rise for a team that finished 5-11 last year, not to mention losing five straight to Cincinnati.

The team with the lowest odds to win a title this season are the AFC North cellar-dwelling Cleveland Browns at 5000-1. The San Francisco 49ers are right behind them at 2000-1 odds.
