Tecmo Bowl Futures: Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals

New, comments

You can go anywhere on the web and find what the experts think the outcome of any game will be. I have my own expert. She was born in 1991 and has had my heart ever since. Her name, Tecmo Super Bowl.

It seems when the Bengals and Broncos get together, the games are always fun. I think of Corey Dillon breaking the rushing record, the Brandon Stokley tipped pass and the battles since. Let’s turn to Tecmo and see what is in store for this Sunday. So far, Tecmo is 1-1, just like the Bengals, at predicting games in 2016.

The Broncos start with the football and seem to move down field with ease.

Then Karlos Dansby steps in front of a Trevor Siemian pass and makes the interception.

Dansby is not done as he returns the pick for a touchdown.

Cody Latimer finds a seam and makes the catch for a huge gain for the Broncos.

Carlos Dunlap ends the drive with a sack right as the first quarter ends.

At the end of one, the Bengals lead 7-0 without having their offense on the field.

Denver attempts the field goal.

It’s blocked!

Cincinnati drives down the field easily. Then on a pass towards the end zone for C.J. Uzomah, Dalton is picked off.

Again, Cody Latimer burns the Bengals for a big gain.

Siemian sticks with the hot hand and finds Latimer for the score.

The Broncos miss the extra point. The Bengals offense is struggling as Brandon Marshall brings Andy Dalton down for the sack.

The Bengals are forced to punt.

The Denver passing game is having no issue throwing down field. Demaryius Thomas picks up a huge chunk of yards.

He is finally brought down at the 15 with little time left in the half.

Denver attempts another field goal.

This time it is good.

At the half, the Bengals are struggling. They are losing 9-7.

The Bengals begin the second half with a running attack, but Jeremy Hill is hurt and lost for the game.

The Bengals once again punt the ball away.

Cincinnati’s defense has not given up. Geno Atkins records a sack.

The Broncos punt the ball back to Cincinnati.

Who punt it right back...

Then Thomas takes a long completion to the house for a score.

The Broncos again miss the extra point.

Cincinnati has to make something happen. So they heave the ball downfield to A.J. Green for a huge gain.

At the end of 3, the Bengals are down 7-15.

Dalton finds Brandon LaFell for the score.

Denver continues to move the ball well on offense. Cincinnati may be in trouble.

Fumble! The Bengals recover. There is hope.

Denver sends the house at Dalton and he is sacked multiple times.

With 2:25 on the clock, the Bengals elect to punt back to Denver.

After a first down, the Bengals hold Denver.

The Broncos punt the ball back to Cincinnati with less than :30 seconds in the game.

On their last attempt for the win, the Bengals call a sweep to Giovani Bernard. He is tackled, the Bengals lose.

Not a good day for the Bengals offense.
