Bengals surprisingly waived linebacker P.J. Dawson, a 2015 third round draft pick. If Dawson clears waivers, he’ll be practice squad eligible.

Defensive end Ryan Brown is also re-joining the Bengals on their practice squad.

The Bengals are signing first year wide receiver Jake Kumerow to the practice squad.

No Bengals players waived yesterday were claimed by another team and their only waiver claim was for Driskel.

Here’s the first rumor about the Bengals waiver claims. It looks like they’re adding a new quarterback to the team. This is bad news for Keith Wenning who it doesn’t seem will not last another year on the Bengals’ practice squad. Because the Bengals claimed Driskel on waivers, he’ll need to be added to the 53-man roster, and someone else will need to be cut to make room.
