The Bengals’ already-thin offensive line took a hit on Sunday against the Ravens.
During the second quarter of Sunday’s matchup with the Ravens, Jake Fisher was forced from the game with a left shoulder injury. He was seen on the sideline being examined by trainers before departing for the locker room for further testing. The Bengals later said Fisher was probable to return.
Eric Winston entered the game at right tackle with Fisher out of the lineup. Winston did briefly start there midway through the season after Cedric Ogbuehi was benched.
Ogbuehi is now on I.R. with a shoulder injury, so Winston is essentially the No. 1 back at both tackle spots. As for Fisher, he’s shown some promise on the right side during the last few weeks, and he may have a starting role with the team going forward, depending on what happens with Ogbuehi, as well as Andrew Whitworth’s impending free agency.
Update: Fisher returned for the first Bengals’ drive after the two minute warning.
