Early this morning Massachusetts State Police apprehended and charged a man who pulled a fire alarm at the Pittsburgh Steelers’ hotel at around 3:00 a.m. ET. About 15 hours ahead of the AFC Championship game, this was clearly planned with the Steelers staying in Boston ahead of their game with the New England Patriots.
When Cincy Jungle’s Josh Kirkendall heard about the news, he did what many NFL fans would do and blamed it on Vontaze Burfict. Seems natural, right?
Damn it, Tez. https://t.co/UZgvCJOgVD

But, it got even better when Burfict saw the Tweet and “took credit” for pulling the alarm.
This Tweet from a fan summarizes the situation pretty well.
It’s nice to see Burfict having a sense of humor regarding the joke, which is even funnier because of how many Steelers fans would probably believe it to be true.
On top of this most recent fire alarm incident while in Boston, many NFL players not on the Steelers’ roster don’t seem amused, having dealt with the same situation in year’s past. Broncos cornerback Chris Harris and running back C.J. Anderson both say they’ve experienced false alarms going off ahead of games with the Patriots.
I see steelers alarm went off lol that's happened to us before too in NE
