Super Bowl 51: What to know to watch the biggest game of the year

Here are the details to know for Super Bowl 51 and how to watch the NFL’s biggest game of the year.

Super Bowl 51 is right around the corner! After a long and disappointing season for the Bengals, in which they spent the entirety of the postseason watching from home, the time is nearly here for the two final teams remaining in the playoffs to battle it out for the right to raise the Lombardi Trophy.

The New England Patriots will represent the AFC for the seventh time since Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have been in New England, while the Falcons make their first appearance the Super Bowl in 18 years, representing the NFC. It will be Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan’s first time in the big game.

Both teams have former Bengals on the roster. Mohamed Sanu played a big role in getting the Falcons to the Super Bowl, while James Develin and Matt Lengel played much lesser roles for the Patriots. Still, three former Bengals will be playing in Super Bowl 51.
