Bengals have a great week in Orlando at 2017 Pro Bowl

The four Bengals in Orlando represented the team well... other than when playing Dodgeball, that is.

Even after a 6-9-1 season, the Bengals still had four representatives at the 2017 NFL Pro Bowl.

Quarterback Andy Dalton, left tackle Andrew Whitworth, defensive end Carlos Dunlap and defensive tackle Geno Atkins all played in the annual all-star game, which took place on Sunday night in Orlando, Florida. A.J. Green was originally selected to play in the game, but didn’t make the trip due to his hamstring injury, suffered in Week 11 against the Bills.

Throughout the week, players had a chance to relax and enjoy a great week in Florida, which included having Universal Studios shut down for the players and their guests for a night. Many of the players also enjoyed time at Walt Disney World with their families and spent time at a Play60 event with local kids. Atkins even tried out his luck at wide receiver during practice one day. Both Atkins and Dalton were among the first four players out during Thursday’s Dodgeball game, which was part of the Skills Challenge.

Dalton did much better in the actual game where he went 10-of-12 on passes for 100 yards, 1 touchdown to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and 1 interception, at the hands of Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. Dalton had more passing attempts than any other AFC quarterback after he entered in the second quarter. Atkins also did well, recording 3 tackles and 1.5 sacks in the game.

The AFC won the game 20-13.

Here’s a look at the Pro Bowl through the many social media posts shared throughout the week in Orlando.
