The Cincinnati Bengals are officially looking to the 2017 season and as they do, they have a number of questions to answer. Aside from whether or not to believe in the young players they have recently accrued, it’s also time to discuss which veteran players to keep and which ones to let go.
In the “should they or shouldn’t they” column, the Bengals are facing a major issue with cornerback Adam Jones. After a slight dip in play this year, Jones now faces three misdemeanor charges, along with a felony after a Tuesday morning incident at a downtown Cincinnati hotel.
Meanwhile, on more of a positive note, the Bengals have a decision to make with impending free agent running back, Rex Burkhead. After an impressive performance in the season finale against the Ravens, it has since called Cincinnati’s running back depth chart into question. Should they re-sign Burkhead, if the price is right? If so, what should his role be in 2017?
