The Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers will both likely be missing key players on Sunday.
For the Bengals, it’s looking like Adam Jones and John Ross could be held out. Ross was a limited participant for the second-straight practice on Thursday. Being that this is his first week of practice since Week 3, it’s hard to see him suiting up Sunday without at least one full session.
As for Jones, he didn’t practice at all Thursday after being limited Wednesday. We should probably get used to the thought of Darqueze Dennard, Dre Kirkpatrick and William Jackson III being the top three corners in Pittsburgh.
Speaking of, not practicing again on Thursday for the Steelers were right tackle Marcus Gilbert and defensive end Stephon Tuitt. Gilbert re-injured his hamstring in Sunday’s win over the Chiefs and looks unlikely for Week 7.
As for Tuitt, the stud defensive lineman is nursing a back injury. Him being out would be a huge boost to the Bengals’ ground game as it looks to get going at Heinz Field.
