The Cincinnati Bengals were in panic mode this week as they traveled to Cleveland, looking for a way to salvage what seemed to be a promising season. They made a significant step in doing so on Sunday, as they dismantled the Browns in impressive fashion.
We took to Facebook live to talk about Cincinnati’s first win of the season, with a wide range of topics. Vontaze Burfict’s somewhat-phantom roughing the passer penalty, the running game and Andy Dalton’s great performance were all on the table for discussion.
We also answered questions and comments from those who tuned in live.
Is this a game to get things on the right track for the Bengals in 2017? Or, is this a simple product of playing a poor team and a squad in which they are intimately familiar? Maybe both?
Regardless, the Bengals are entering a stretch of winnable games and they need to take advantage, if they want to re-enter the playoff picture.
The good news is that, in a game that the Bengals’ should have won, on paper, they did so and in impressive fashion. Bill Lazor’s offense seems to be a stark contrast from Ken Zampese’s, as Andy Dalton has thrown six touchdowns against zero interceptions in the two games since the coordinator change.
After each game, we’ll be going live on our Facebook page to discuss what we just witnessed and we would love to have you join us! You can tune in by “liking” our Facebook page.
