Bengals at Broncos injury report: Kevin Minter returns; Adam Jones in concussion protocol

The Bengals are getting healthier, but some key starters are still missing practice.

A host of starters were out for the Cincinnati Bengals in Wednesday’s practice.

Among them were Brandon LaFell (hamstring), Adam Jones (concussion), William Jackson (toe) and Pat Sims (calf) in addition to backup Chris Smith (ankle). LaFell usually sits out for one practice each week, so his issue is probably nothing major.

Jones, however, was forced from Sunday’s loss to the Titans with his concussion. Now that he’s in the NFL concussion protocol, he looks very iffy for next Sunday against the Broncos.

That may also be the case with Jackson, who left the loss in Tennessee with a toe injury. It wasn’t thought to be serious, so hopefully he can return to practice later this week.

Sims is still sidelined with previous injuries that sidelined him in Week 10. Unless he practice Thursday, don’t expect to see him in Denver.

The good news is Kevin Minter was able to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday. With the team also waiving backup Hardy Nickerson earlier this week, all signs are pointing to Minter returning in Week 11.
