Bengals at Broncos injury report: William Jackson returns; Adam Jones still out

The Bengals hope to have William Jackson on Sunday with Adam Jones looking very iffy.

The Cincinnati Bengals should have most of their 53-man roster able to play in Week 11 against the Denver Broncos.

The only two players who look unlikely to go Sunday are Pat Sims and Adam Jones. Sims is still battling a calf injury that held him out in Week 10. His absence has led to Andrew Billings having a bigger role on defense, and he’s done well. With the Bengals clearly in a rebuild, Billings needs to keep getting extended reps.

As for Jones, he’ still battling a concussion that will likely have him sitting out Sunday. That means Darqueze Dennard and William Jackson will be getting extended snaps. Both have actually played better than Jones, who is clearly in the downswing of his career at 34 years old. He should not be allowed to take another snap from either Dennard or Jackson, even though we know that’s not how it will play out once he’s healthy.

Speaking of Jackson, he was able to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday after sitting out with a toe injury on Wednesday. If he were to be out, Josh Shaw and/or Keivarae Russell would see extended action.
