Cincinnati’s playoff hopes are hanging on by a very thin thread, as the team travels to Denver to take on the Broncos. The Bengals hasn’t fared well against the Mile High horses in the Marvin Lewis era, but a win here could sneak them back into the AFC playoff picture.

Meanwhile, as the Bengals prep for this week’s contest, there are a number of tumultuous happenings surrounding the club. Vontaze Burfict was ejected from last week’s game, with some feeling as if he is being unfairly targeted by NFL officials. Jeremy Hill went to Injured Reserve to have ankle surgery, while John Ross continues to see very limited snaps.

Clouding those issues is the lack of public support Lewis has shown those particular players. The stress from losing has taken its toll on everyone in that locker room, particularly Lewis, and he appears to be taking it out on some of his favorite whipping boys.

On this week’s Orange and Black Insider, we recapped the above-mentioned issues that are making headlines. We also look at the team’s third loss in four games, as well as what’s ahead against the Broncos in Week 11 and answer listener questions.
