UPDATE
Ryan Glasgow has since returned to the game.
The Cincinnati Bengals may have lost another defender in Denver.
This time, it was Ryan Glasgow who went down with an injury in the third quarter of their matchup with the Broncos. It wasn’t immediately clear what the injury was when he went down after a run play. After he stayed down on the ground for a few minutes while being examined by trainers, Glasgow was able to walk to the sideline under his own power.
Glasgow has had a very promising rookie season as a rotational defensive lineman. His playing time has increased in recent weeks thanks to Pat Sims being injured before being waived this past week. That led to the Bengals signing Josh Tupou off the practice squad, but he is inactive for this game.
If Glasgow misses the rest of the game, the Bengals will be down to Geno Atkins and Andrew Billings at defensive tackle. However, defensive end Michael Johnson has seen extensive snaps at defensive tackle throughout the season, so he’d simply get more snaps there for the remainder of this game.
The Bengals also lost linebacker Vincent Rey to a hamstring injury in this game, so the last thing they needed was another injured player in the front seven.
