The Cincinnati Bengals have won three of four games and are now back in the thick of the playoff hunt. But in order to stay above water and keep those slim postseason hopes alive, the Bengals must have a successful three-game road trip that begins in Week 9. That’s when the Bengals face the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team on the rose and is also right in the thick of the postseason hunt.
Jacksonville has been one of the biggest surprise teams of the young season, highlighted by road wins over the Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans. However, the Jaguars are 0-2 this season when playing in the friendly confines of EverBank Field. That’s seemingly good news for the Bengals, who are just 1-2 in road games this season, though the two losses were at Green Bay (with Aaron Rodgers) and at Pittsburgh.
Let’s hope the Bengals are .500 on the road by the time Week 9 concludes.
