NFL Week 12 Primer: Cincinnati Bengals (4-6) vs Cleveland Browns (0-10) stats and facts

Everything you need to know for when the Bengals host the winless Browns on Sunday.

NFL: Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Bengals are sitting at 4-6, and they they will be hosting the winless Browns on Sunday. The Bengals’ victory over the Broncos last week — along with the rest of the AFC teams involved in the playoff hunt imploding — has given the Bengals’ season a second wind.

The Bengals pass protection did well in the victory against the Broncos, but it is clear that run blocking is still very much an issue. Joe Mixon was given 20 carries, but he could only get 49 yards. That included being stuffed at the goal line twice.

The Browns have issues everywhere on offense. Most of them stem from their rookie quarterback playing like a rookie. You couple that with him not really having any weapons, and you get a winless Browns team. Corey Coleman returned last week from injury to catch six passes for 80 yards, but it will be hard for him to carry the load of this passing attack by himself.

Four of the Bengals’ last six games are at home, so their shot at the playoffs is very real, but this team will have to show they can make some actual noise in the next few weeks in order to make it though.
