The Cincinnati Bengals may have lost Josh Malone to a head injury late in their matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
The play in question came with four minutes left and the Bengals airing it out deep for Malone down the sideline. He appeared to have made a spectacular one-handed grab, but just as he was gaining control of the ball, Browns safety Jabrill Peppers dislodged the ball with a monster hit.

Peppers was actually flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play, which left Malone dazed and confused as he laid on the ground following the big hit. After being examined by trainers, Malone was able to work off the field. The team has yet to announce if Malone has any kind of injury or if he just had the wind knocked out of him.
If this turns out to be an injury that keeps Malone out for a game or two, that could lead to John Ross getting back on the gameday active roster.
