According to Google, Bengals WR John Ross is a dead chemist

Ross really needs to get on the field and start making people—and Google—get to know him.

Who is Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver John Ross?

Well, the No. 9 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft is making such a minimal impact on the Bengals’ season that you may have forgotten who he is. Or maybe, if you listen to Google, you’re very confused.

If you Google, “Bengals roster”, you’ll get photos of members of the team and one of those images is of an elderly man, labeled “John Ross, wide receiver”.

Additionally, when you click the image, you’ll see that John Ross is a scientist who was born on October 2, 1926 and died earlier this year on February 18, 2017.

Google did get correct that Ross is a wide receiver for the Bengals and that he played for Washington. But, it also thinks he’s a dead scientist.

Maybe Marvin Lewis thinks the same and that’s why Ross has been a healthy scratch for the last few weeks.

Hopefully Ross gets on the field soon so that Google can figure out that he’s no chemist, he’s the fastest player in the NFL.

In the meantime, while Ross watches and learns from the sideline, he’s dropping his jaw while watching A.J. Green making crazy catches just like the rest of us.

Google would never wrong Green like they did Ross.
