It’s getting to be do-or-die time for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Sure, you could argue Cincinnati’s playoff hopes are already dead heading into Week 10, but with the AFC looking very murky outside of the top 2-3 teams, getting to the postseason is still very possible for the Bengals. Once their current three-game road swing ends, the schedule presents a host of winnable games that could lead to a late-season run towards the playoffs.
But for even that fading glimmer of hope to last, the Bengals must beat the Tennessee Titans in Week 10, and they probably need a win over the Denver Broncos in Week 11 as well. The good news is neither Tennessee nor Denver has been dominant this season, so Cincinnati must win at least one of these matchups for the postseason to even be remotely possible.
It won’t be easy, but the season is far from over, at least as long as the Bengals want it to continue.
