It sounds like a few Bengals players will be heading south before Monday night’s AFC North clash between Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.

The Cincinnati Bengals love their Georgia Bulldogs. Just check out the Bengals’ roster over the years and you’ll see floods of Georgia alums.

Bengals star wide receiver A.J. Green is one of those former Georgia players and he let it be known he planned to attend the SEC Championship game, in which Georgia will be playing, a few weeks ago.

“I never miss a game,” Green said of watching Georgia football every Saturday, via The Players’ Tribune. “For me, as the school that got me to this position I’m in today, and especially this year, they’re playing unbelievable. Every Saturday, no matter I’m home or away, I’m always tuning in. I’ll be at the SEC Championship next week when they beat Alabama.”

It turns out, Georgia won’t be facing Alabama as the reigning SEC champions lost last week to Auburn. Now, it’ll be Georgia vs Auburn with a spot in the College Football Playoff potentially on the line.

Green will reportedly be chartering a plane from Cincinnati to Atlanta for the game, which will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the new home of the Atlanta Falcons.

It sounds like Green will be bringing along his fellow Georgia Bulldogs turned Bengals: Geno Atkins, Shawn Williams and Clint Boling.

Auburn’s former players who are now Bengals (C.J. Uzomah, Carl Lawson and Pat Sims) are reportedly not invited to come with the former Bulldogs.

The SEC Championship game is on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. ET on CBS. Who will you be rooting for?
