The Cincinnati Bengals may have Joe Mixon back for their matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.
After missing Wednesday’s session, Mixon was able to return for a limited session on Thursday. He probably needs to get in a full session on Friday to have any chance of playing, even though Friday is more of a walkthrough.
Darqueze Dennard was also able to return on Thursday for a limited session. His knee issue appears to be more a pain tolerance issue that the team is managing. Dennard has dealt with it for several weeks now, so expect him to play on Sunday.
Shawn Williams was also limited Thursday while recovering from his hamstring injury. His situations is different since he’s missed the last three games with this issue. Without a full week of practice, the Bengals may not feel comfortable letting him return in Week 15.
Don’t expect Dre Kirkpatrick or Vontaze Burfict to play this Sunday. Both players were sidelined again Thursday as they recover from concussions.
Kevin Minter was absent for a second-straight day with a hamstring injury, putting his status for Sunday in jeopardy.
For the Vikings, Kyle Rudolph remained sidelined on Thursday with his ankle issue. He’s beginning to look unlikely to play on Sunday.
However, Minnesota did have Xavier Rhodes back at practice on Thursday, though it was just a limited session as he works through a hipe issue.
