The Cincinnati Bengals are a mess, and Marvin Lewis is likely on the way out.
It’s felt like that’s been true ever since Week 1, when the Bengals got shellacked 20-0 by the Ravens. The Bengals have had some good moments since then, but as Week 15 finishes up, they sit at 5-9 heading into their final two games, all while being outscored 67-14 in their last two games.
That’s why it feels like it’s only a matter of when, not if, the Bengals part ways with Lewis. And, pretty much everyone can see that.
Even former Bengals offensive coordinator and current Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson knows about it, as he said as much during his postgame presser following the Browns’ 27-10 loss to the Ravens.
As he begins talking about Lewis and the prospect of coming back to the Bengals, Jackson let a little "I've kind of known about Marvin" line slip, indicating he’s known about Lewis planning to depart from Cincinnati. Lewis says he talks to Jackson every week other than when the Browns play the Bengals.
Jackson also said he has no desire to leave or “run from” Cleveland:

There’s been speculation the Bengals and Browns could work out a trade to bring Jackson back to Cincinnati, but don’t expect that to happen.
