Bengals vs Steelers: Odds, expert picks, analysis, predictions for NFL Week 13

The experts and oddsmakers view the Bengals as underdogs, and that is just the way we like it. Let’s prove ‘em wrong.

NFL: Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers Philip G. Pavely-USA TODAY Sports

The Bengals defeating the Steelers on Monday night would be an upset, and the experts and oddsmakers view it that way. After all, the Bengals lost 14-29 earlier this season to the Steelers. The Bengals have only played five games since then, and they have gone 3-2 since, but those three wins have come against three of the worst teams in the NFL: the Colts, Broncos and Browns.

Meanwhile, the Steelers have been on a tear. They are 9-2 on the season and currently sit at the top of the AFC with the Patriots. They have had their share of close games, but they have always seemed to make that game deciding play.

The Bengals played one of their best games last week against the Browns. Joe Mixon saw his first 100 yard rushing game, and Andy Dalton has continued his streak of games without an interception. The last team he threw an interception against was the Steelers. It will take a total team effort to pull off a Bengals win. Can Cincinnati accomplish as much? We’re anxious to find out.

Odds

According to Bovada, the Bengals are currently six-point underdogs against the Steelers. The line has been consistently going down though since the Bengals opened as a 6.5-point underdog. Some places have gone as low as to make the Bengals a 4.5- point underdog.

The over/under is currently set at 48.5 total points, according to Odds Sharks. The Bengals and Steelers have failed to combine for more than 48.5 points in their last four meetings, all of which have been won by the black and yellow jerseys.
