After beating the Lions in Week 16, the Bengals are now set to pick 10th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, if the season were to end today.
But, the season does not end today and the Bengals still have one more game to play against the Ravens before their draft positioning is set for Round 1 of the 2018 NFL Draft. Winning in the final week of the season could push the Bengals out of the top 10 of the draft order. This, after picking ninth overall in 2017 and selecting wide receiver John Ross.
The current draft order sees the Browns picking first and fourth (the second pick coming from the Texans). That's a whole lot of draft ammo for the Browns and their new GM, John Dorsey.
The Giants (2), Colts (3), Buccaneers (5), Broncos (6), 49ers and Jets (t-7) and Bears (9) round out the top nine of teams who are currently slated to pick prior to the Bengals' first selection. Let's just say, there will likely be a bunch of quarterbacks drafted early this year with the Browns, Giants, Broncos and Jets all having the potential to take a quarterback in Round 1. The 49ers are likely to franchise tag or extend Jimmy Garoppolo after his fantastic play with them late this year. So, they might not be in the quarterback market this season.
