The Cincinnati Bengals may be down several key starters heading into their Week 17 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.
On Wednesday, the Bengals were without Joe Mixon, Vontaze Burfict, Cedric Ogbuehi and William Jackson. Burfict suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday’s win over the Lions, which led to him missing the entire second half of the upset win. He wasn’t even present for Wednesday’s practice, so he looks very iffy for Sunday.
Mixon suffered an ankle injury Sunday that led to him missing the second half as well. However, Mixon was at least with the team Wednesday as he didn’t do any work. Perhaps he’ll actually play in Week 17. Both Burfict and Mixon missed Weeks 14-15 before returning in Week 16.
It’s unclear when Jackson suffered his knee injury, but hopefully him not practicing Wednesday is just precautionary.
Cedric Ogbuehi remains out and looks like he’ll miss the finale with his shoulder injury. Expect Clint Boling to start at left tackle again in place of Ogbuehi.
