Bengals at Ravens injury report: Joe Mixon returns; Vontaze Burfict still out

The Bengals had most of their roster able to practice on Thursday, including Joe Mixon.

The Cincinnati Bengals are getting healthier ahead of their matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.

Returning to practice on Thursday were Joe Mixon, William Jackson and Alex Erickson. All three missed Wednesday’s session, but they returned for a limited session today.

Sitting out again Thursday were Cedric Ogbuehi and Vontaze Burfict. Ogbuehi is set to miss his second-straight game with a shoulder injury. Expect Clint Boling to start at left tackle again with Eric Winston at right tackle. We should also continue to see Alex Redmond and Christian Westerman at left guard.

As for Burfict, him being out means Jordan Evan, Brandon Bell and/or Hardy Nickerson will be thrust into the starting lineup with Vincent Rey. This is easily the weakest position on the roster when Burfict is out, and it’s still way too thin even when he plays.

On Baltimore’s side, Jeremy Maclin was out again on Thursday. He looks unlikely for this matchup. Maclin caught a touchdown against the Bengals in Baltimore’s Week 1 win in Cincinnati.

Everyone else on the Ravens’ roster was able to practice in some capacity on Thursday. They’ll have nearly all hands on deck for Sunday.
