UPDATE
The Bengals have downgraded Vontaze Burfict to OUT for Sunday, ending his 2017 season.
The Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens will both have much of their 53-man rosters able to play Sunday, but some key players may be forced to sit out due to injury.
For the Bengals, the only player ruled out for Week 17 is Cedric Ogbuehi. The starting left tackle is out again with his shoulder injury. The Bengals figure to go with their reconfigured offensive line in Baltimore, which saw Clint Boling at left tackle with Alex Redmond and Christian Westerman splitting time at left guard.
Pro Bowl linebacker Vontaze Burfict is doubtful to play with a shoulder injury. He did not practice this week, so he’s effectively out for this game.
Rookie running back Joe Mixon is questionable with an ankle injury. He practiced every day this week, but he failed to get in a full practice. Even if he plays, expect Giovani Bernard to get a big workload Sunday after his breakout game versus the Detroit Lions.
That’s also the case with William Jackson, who is questionable after missing Wednesday’s practice, then ending the week with back-to-back limited sessions.
As for the Ravens, starting receiver Jeremy Maclin is doubtful to play with his knee injury. Fellow starting receiver Mike Wallace is questionable with a knee injury. if they both are out, the Ravens will be relying heavily on Chris Moore, Michael Campanaro and Breshad Perriman at wide receiver.
Starting right tackle Austin Howard and starting defensive tackle Brandon Williams are also questionable. They, along with Wallace, practiced every day this week.
