NFL Scouting Combine results: Offensive lineman and running back measurables

Leonard Fournette is a big guy. In fact, he’s the heaviest running back at the combine. The other running back in play for a top 10 pick, Dalvin Cook, is the shortest running back at the combine.

The NFL Combine is underway and on Wednesday running backs and offensive lineman got weighed in and measured up in front of the NFL scouts, GMs and coaches in attendance. On-the-field workouts don’t begin until Friday, so for now, the event is all about how you size up by look and IQ.

Among the running backs at the Combine, Wyoming's Brian Hill, USC's Justin Davis and Pittsburgh's James Conner are the tallest among the group at 6'1". Florida State back Dalvin Cook, who's expected to be a first round pick, measured in at 5’10”, 210 pounds. His hand span is 9 1/4" and arm span is 32 3/8". The heaviest running back at the Combine is Leonard Fournette, another player expected to be drafted in round one, and a potential top 10 draft pick. Fournette weighed in at 240 pounds, 6-feet tall and had a 9 1/4" hand span and 31 5/8" arm span.

For the offensive lineman, Arkansas' Dan Skipper was the tallest lineman at 6-foot-10, while USC's Zach Banner was the heaviest lineman, weighing in at 353 pounds. On the other end of the spectrum, San Diego State's Daniel Brunskill was the lightest offensive lineman at 273 pounds. As expected, Bucknell's Julie'n Davenport (who we spoke with last week) has the longest arm span at 36 1/2". Another small school product, Erik Austell out of Charleston Southern tied with Oregon State's Sean Harlow for the shortest arm span at 32", which isn’t a good thing for a lineman.

Below are the measurables for the running backs and offensive lineman, via WalterFootball.com.
