The verbal altercation, which involved FOX19 NOW Sports Director Joe Danneman, happened after Danneman approached Jones for an interview during the Bengals first open locker room of the off-season.

Bengals Preseason Opener Set for Aug. 11 at Home
Dates and kickoff times are now set for all Bengals 2017 preseason games. The Bengals open the preseason with back-to-back home games, including a Friday night opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Aug. 11 that kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and a Saturday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Aug. 19 that kicks off at 7 p.m.
