The Orange and Black Insider Bengals podcast: Do I feel a draft in here?

On this week’s episode, we look at many aspects of the NFL Draft. Who will the Bengals pick with their early picks? Are running backs gaining value around the league? We also talk about the recent issue with Adam Jones.

We’re a week away from one of the biggest events on the NFL calendar, and the Bengals have a major vested interest in this year’s NFL Draft. With 11 picks at their disposal, including a top-10 pick, Cincinnati can immediately improve their roster with the right selections.

On this week’s Orange and Black Insider, we discussed what those right selections might be, according to position and/or who the team has been connected to in the pre-draft process. Also, regarding the draft, we looked at the current value of running backs around the league, especially with this year’s crop, as well as a couple of fun questions centering around the current Bengals’ quarterbacks and some colorful characters in football-centered movies.

Scott Schulze, Connor Howe and I also continued our regular segment of answering listener questions. This week’s submissions were about a hypothetical of the league allowing the release of team’s draft boards after the weekend’s festivities, as well as our thoughts on the most recent piece of questionable behavior from Adam Jones.

Next week, we’re changing up the schedule a little bit. Instead of our usual Wednesday evening show, we’re going to do a live session during the first part of the draft on Thursday night. Join us live here at Cincy Jungle or in our live YouTube chat to discuss the happenings on the first night!
