The 6'3", 325-pound beast of a man recorded 45 total tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks for the Buffs this past season. He's a big run-stuffer who could find his way onto an NFL field as a rookie thanks to his size, strength, and ability to hold his gap on the interior.
Tupou was actually one of the few undrafted free agents Cincinnati got that had a draftable grade. NFL.com has him rated as a round 5-6 prospect:
DRAFT PROJECTION Rounds 5-6
BOTTOM LINE Does one thing and one thing only -- eat up space. Doesn't have enough reactive quickness or even functional movement to find himself in many plays that aren't right at him, but his size and anchor gives him a shot with a team who values pure girth for early downs.
The Bengals certainly need more size in the middle after Domata Peko left this offseason, so maybe Tupou earns a spot on the final 53-man roster.
