We’re gearing up for another busy part of the NFL calendar year, as minicamps and training camp are on the minds of fans. The 2017 NFL Draft and free agency frenzy of March are behind us, but The Orange and Black Insider wanted to tie a bow around the Bengals’ most recent rookie class.

We invited draft analyst Joe Goodberry back on the program to talk about the team’s 11 draft picks and what may be ahead when considering their immediate roles. Are entrenched veterans on the roster in trouble? Are we going to see a full-blown youth movement with the roster this year?

Joe pinch-hit for our regular co-hosts, Scott Schulze and Connor Howe this week, bringing a vast knowledge of the prospects Cincinnati brought in a couple of weeks ago. He particularly likes the skill sets of John Ross, Carl Lawson and Josh Malone.

Our huge thanks to Joe for stepping in and giving us some great insight. If you aren’t following him on Twitter, do so @JoeGoodberry.
