Odds for Joe Mixon to win offensive rookie of the year; John Ross over/under

It’s pretty exciting to consider a Bengals player could become the offensive rookie of the year in 2017.

NCAA Football: Oklahoma Pro Day Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

With the NFL Draft in the rearview mirror, we have a much clearer view of what the Bengals and each of their NFL counterparts will look like in 2017.

The Bengals added two impressive talents on the offensive side of the ball in Rounds 1 and 2 of the draft. Wide receiver John Ross and running back Joe Mixon have the potential to make waves and impress the NFL with their on-the-field skill set in their rookie year.

Bovada has set a bunch of prop bets for the 2017 NFL season, including Offensive Rookie of the Year and total receiving/rushing yards for some of the top skill players drafted this year.

Among the players with rookie of the year odds set is Mixon, with 12/1 odds to win OROY.

2017 Offensive Rookie of the Year - Odds to Win

Leonard Fournette: 7/2

Christian McCaffrey: 5/1

DeShaun Watson: 6/1

Dalvin Cook: 8/1

Corey Davis: 8/1

DeShone Kizer: 12/1

Joe Mixon: 12/1

Jamaal Williams: 12/1

Mike Williams: 12/1

Mitch Trubisky: 14/1

O.J. Howard: 16/1

Kareem Hunt: 20/1

Patrick Mahomes: 20/1

Curtis Samuel: 20/1

Evan Engram: 25/1

Zay Jones: 25/1

Bovada also has odds set for John Ross’ total receiving yards in 2017, with the under/over at 700.

What do you think? Would you bet on Mixon to win Offensive Rookie of the Year? Would you take the over for Ross’ receiving yards in his rookie year?

And in case you’re wondering, Bovada still has the Bengals’ odds to win Super Bowl 52 at 50/1. Those are the same odds as have been set been since the day after Super Bowl for Cincinnati, with neither free agency nor the draft making an impact.
