The 2017 NFL Draft is in the books, and the Cincinnati Bengals added some very talented players to their roster. While not everyone absolutely loved each of the team’s 11 picks, most will agree that the potential payoffs from the risks they took could be franchise-changing.

On this week’s episode of the Orange and Black Insider, Scott Schulze and I went through each of the team’s picks and analyzed what they mean to the club going forward. We also took a stab at the outlook of their possible immediate roles with the club and if we should expect big results right away.

Interestingly enough, the Bengals essentially were very balanced, in terms of how they drafted this year. Five players on offense and defense were taken, with another pick spent on a kicker for special teams. Then again, this depends on how the team views Brandon Wilson, as he can play both running back, cornerback and safety.

While we seem to know the roles of many of the new players, the team did recently surprise us with a couple of rookies, Wilson included, being listed at different positions than expected. Will potentially lining up in different spots than they played in college bring the results we hope for? Which rookies have the potential to be have the highest impact in 2017?
