We are getting our first up-close look at the 2017 Cincinnati Bengals and, by reports, the new additions to the roster are coming in as advertised. As we’ve noted constantly, this offseason is a particularly interesting one, given the results of the 2016 season and the influx of new talent added earlier in the year.

On this week’s episode of The Orange and Black Insider, Connor Howe and I talked about a number of topics stemming from OTA sessions, including recent comments made by George Iloka and A.J. Green, as well as the ongoing concern on the offensive line. While the outlook on Andre Smith at guard has high upside, there are reasons to still be concerned—particularly because of his injury history.

We also fielded listener questions once again and some revolved around the prospect of the team continuing to add talent as the summer months pass. Will the team go after a cheap veteran option on the offensive line as worries continue to mount? As their mini-rebuild of the roster continues this offseason, will Cincinnati scour the waiver wire after final cuts to add another talented player to bolster their team?
