Just moments after George Iloka went down with a knee injury during Day 3 of Cincinnati Bengals training camp, fellow safety Derron Smith suffered an injury and was carted off the field.
Smith’s injury appeared to be to his foot and as practice was nearing an end, Iloka left with him. Iloka had been sitting on the sidelines with ice on his knee prior to Smith’s injury.
Now safety Derron Smith is down and being looked at by trainers. #Bengals

Michael Johnson and Wallace Gilberry were also not on the practice field and spent time on the rehab field on both Saturday and Sunday with undisclosed injuries.
When it rains, it pours. Let’s hope these injuries are nothing serious and that both safeties will be back on the field soon!
We’ll have more on this shortly.
Update: The injuries to both Iloka and Smith are considered minor by defensive coordinator Paul Guenther.
DC Paul Guenther said he believes injuries to safeties George Iloka and Derron Smith were "minor." "Typical twists and turns."#Bengals
