After the Bengals started off the 2017 preseason with a win, folks are wondering jut how high the ceiling is this year. The 2016 season was a major disappointment, but some offseason additions this spring has many believing that this iteration of Cincinnati’s roster has the similar makeup of so many other playoff teams under Marvin Lewis.

On this week’s episode of The Orange and Black Insider, we had guest co-host Joe Gooberry join us to dissect the team’s win over the Buccaneers, as well as preview the critical preseason Week 2 game against the Chiefs. What are the areas in most need of improvement? What should wee be looking for from the young players on the roster.

We also received some interesting listener questions this week, as they also teemed with concerns. Should we still be concerned with Vontaze Burfict’s actions, given his recent practice scrums and his on-field history? Should Cincinnati’s coaching staff think about allowing John Ross and Joe Mixon get special teams touches in the regular season?

Out thanks to Joe for joining us, as it was a lot of fun talking Bengals with him!
