Cincinnati Bengals training camp: Live updates from Day 6

After a day off the Bengals are back in action! Get updates live from practice here!

The Cincinnati Bengals received a much-deserved day off on Wednesday and are back in action today for the sixth training camp practice of the summer.

It will be interesting to see who’s practicing and who’s not after many players sat out on Tuesday. While safety George Iloka is expected to be out for about a month recovering from a knee injury, we don’t know much about the statuses of the team’s other banged up players like defensive end Michael Johnson, safety Derron Smith, wide receivers Jake Kumerow and Chris Brown and offensive linemen T.J. Johnson and Andre Smith. Smith practiced in limited fashion on Tuesday and isn’t expected to miss much more time. With him off the field, Trey Hopkins has been getting more playing time with the first team offense at right guard. If Smith is actually going to start and switch positions this year, he needs all the practice time he can get. But, maybe the job is more likely Hopkins’ to lose at this point.

Today’s practice begins at 3:00 p.m. ET and is expected to run through 4:45 p.m.
