Vontaze Burfict reacts to Deshaun Watson gashing Bengals for long touchdown

Tez, like all Bengals fans, is frustrated with the first-half performance he witnessed.

The Cincinnati Bengals had a first half to forget against the Houston Texans.

The ‘highlight’ of Cincinnati’s ineptitude came when Deshaun Watson, a rookie quarterback making his first start, gashed the defense for a 49-yard touchdown. It was full of poor angels, missed tackles and awful effort by Bengals defenders, something that would never happen if Vontaze Burfict was on the field. Burfit is currently serving a three game suspension, which will last for one more game after tonight.

Burfict made sure to let everyone know on Twitter that play wouldn’t have happened with him on the field:

Watson is a good quarterback who is very agile, but not to a degree he should be gashing Cincinnati for long runs like that, especially on a third-and-15 from the Houston 45-yard line with one minute left in the first half. Burfict has every right to be upset for what he just had to watch.

Unfortunately, Burfict’s suspension will continue through the Week 3 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
