Andrew Whitworth still rooting for Bengals despite leaving for Rams

Once a Bengal, always a Bengal... That seems to be how Andrew Whitworth sees it.

So you’re probably missing Andrew Whitworth a whole lot right now.

Honestly, I don’t think Bengals fans have ever missed a departed player so much.

The Bengals are very noticeably struggling after Whitworth left in free agency this year to join the Los Angeles Rams. The offensive line was left in near shambles, which has been on full display for the last two games. After having Whitworth in Cincinnati for more than a decade, the team looks lost without him.

During the Bengals’ Week 2 game against the Houston Texans, WLWT videographer Mark Slaughter Tweeted saying “Somewhere (Andrew Whitworth) has a big ole smile on his face.”

In response, Whitworth quickly let him know that was not the case.

“BS! That’s my boyz! Let’s go! Who dey!” Whitworth Tweeted in response.

Whitworth’s wife, Melissa, also made those feelings clear.

Whitworth may be with the Rams, but it seems like he’s not abandoning his loyalty and love for his former teammates anytime soon.

Way to make that clear, Whitworth. Will you come back to Cincinnati now?

Please?
