Because the Cincinnati Bengals played on Thursday, players had the weekend to sit back, relax and recharge their batteries.
That included Andy Dalton, who has been catching a lot of heat as of late. He’s been unable to lead his offense to a touchdown in the Bengals’ first two games. While his play needs to be better, Dalton is far from the only thing going wrong with this offense, so he doesn’t deserve to catch as much heat as he has.
The good thing about Dalton is he couldn’t care less what people are saying about him. He surely knows he needs to play better than he has. On Sunday, he took time to enjoy Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, going on in town this weekend.
There, Dalton teamed up with Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green to lead the World’s Largest Chicken Dance in downtown Cincinnati.
This is an annual tradition in Cincinnati and one many former Bengals have participated in through the years. In case you need a refresher on this festival, check out their official website. You can also go here to see more highlights of Dalton getting his chicken on.
It’s great seeing Dalton and Green having a good time amid what’s been a stressful season thus far.
