TDBH: Five Muhlmann FGs puncture Steel Curtain, 15-10
It is only the fifth game in the Bengals-Steelers rivalry and already it is at full boil with Steelers head coach Chuck Noll working against his former coach when he played in Cleveland in Bengals’ head man Paul Brown. Noll takes over a down-and-out club in 1969 and is slowly building a dynasty with a rising young quarterback in Terry Bradshaw and a fast, brutal defense that will become known as “The Steel Curtain.” Brown is working much the same formula in Cincinnati with second-year quarterback Ken Anderson and a defense boasting two No. 1 picks on the defensive line in Mike Reid and Sherman White to go with a pair of second-rounders in Ron Carpenter at tackle and Bill Bergey at middle linebacker The Steelers climb to 6-8 last season, after one- and five-win seasons under Noll, and have the 4-10 Bengals for two of those wins.

Media Roundtable: Bengals buckle up
After two stunning losses at home in the first four days of their season that cost them their offensive coordinator before they ever scored a touchdown, the Bengals have been sent to the NFL’s version of Siberia for Sunday’s game (4:25 p.m.-Cincinnati’s Channel 12) at Lambeau Field against a Green Bay team that loses at home about once a presidency.

Bengals at Packers Game Notes
Home losses to Baltimore and Houston in their first two games have left the 0-2 Cincinnati Bengals with a bit of an upward climb ahead of them, and with their 13-9 loss to the Texans last Thursday behind them, the team has a little extra time to ready for an ascent. The team is using its 10-day break between games to regroup and re-establish its resolve. “We’ve dug ourselves into a little bit of a hole against two AFC opponents, which you don’t want to do,” said head coach Marvin Lewis. “It’s not a spot where we thought we would be, but we are. It’s where we’ve put ourselves. We have to right our ship, and we have do it one play and one game at a time.”

It's time for the Cincinnati Bengals to give Joe Mixon his chance
If the Cincinnati Bengals want to climb out of their 0-2 hole, they have to get their running game off the ground. That should start with figuring out how to best use rookie running back Joe Mixon. The Bengals badly wanted a running back in the 2017 NFL draft, showing significant interest in both Mixon and Leonard Fournette, who ultimately went in the first round to the Jaguars. If they felt their running back situation was dire enough to warrant a high pick, they should be trying to unleash that pick to the best of their ability.

Key players for the Packers against the Bengals in week 3
We at Acme Packing Company know that last week was rough. We’ve discussed it ad nauseum and injuries seem to just be as continuous as ever. Let’s find some bright side here and talk about the potential impact that some key players can have to help secure the Packers a win against Cincinnati.

Green Bay Packers' defense faces floundering Bengals offense
The Green Bay Packers gave up 34 points in Sunday night’s loss at Atlanta. The Cincinnati Bengals have scored nine points while starting the season 0-2. One of these struggling units should be feeling better about things after Sunday’s game at Lambeau Field.

Bengals at early crossroads with visit to banged-up Packers
Just three weeks into the season and the Cincinnati Bengals are already at a crossroads. About the last thing that the struggling team needed was a trip to Lambeau Field on Sunday to face the Green Bay Packers.

Uniting Against Ugliness: Donald Trump's Rhetoric Re-Energizing NFL Movement
The movement was dying. In fact, it was all but dead. Over a year ago, Colin Kaepernick sat, then took a knee, during the national anthem to protest social injustice. It started a movement, a movement that he paid dearly for with his career. He remains, to this day, blackballed by the NFL.
