The Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns have released their final injury reports.
For the Bengals, it includes John Ross, Jordan Evans and Tyler Eifert being ruled out. None of those three practiced this week, making it an easy call to hold them out Sunday.
Listed as questionable will be Trey Hopkins, who is not expected to play this week. He did get in three limited practices this week, so perhaps a Week 5 return is in the cards. Expect T.J. Johnson to start in his place at right guard yet again.
Listed as doubtful is Derron Smith, who is still battling an ankle injury. He didn’t practice at all this week. Expect Josh Shaw to rotate in at safety this Sunday if either George Iloka or Shawn Williams get nicked up.
For the Browns, four players are listed as questionable, including Myles Garrett. Despite getting in three limited practices this week, Garrett is not expected to play this week. He’s targeting a return in Week 5.
Also listed as questionable is Danny Shelton, who injured his calf Wednesday, then didn’t practice Thursday or Friday. He’s got a decent chance of playing Sunday. Shelton is easily one of the Browns’ best defenders, not to mention one of the better defense tackles Cincinnati will face.
As expected, Jamie Collins was ruled out due to a concussion. Losing him is a major blow to this struggling defense, which Cincinnati is primed to have a big game against.
