It’s been an offseason full of roster change for the Cincinnati Bengals, as the team has tried to get younger, faster and more athletic in 2017. The ceiling is high for this year’s squad, but inexperience might be an issue—particularly early in the year.
They have a huge test right away, as they host their AFC North rival, Baltimore Ravens. On this week’s episode of The Orange and Black Insider, we previewed the upcoming season opener with the help of Matthew Cohen, who is an editor over at SB Nation’s Baltimore Beatdown.
Scott Schulze and I also took a look at some surprising news with the roster and the depth chart, while also fielding a couple of listener questions and giving our score prediction at the end of the program. Will we see a different role for Michael Johnson this year? Could some of the rookies’ preseason performances push for more snaps early in 2017?
