The East-West Shrine Game may not draw the cream of the crop as far as draft prospects go, but it is still a great chance to get a look at some of the prospects who we will be talking about during the offseason.
Players like Jimmy Garoppolo, Dak Prescott and Cooper Kupp all took part in this game.
There may not be first-round picks running around, but these guys will fill out the gut of this draft. There will be solid players who will have long careers as solid players, and every team needs players like that to have a successful draft.
Most people measure the success of drafts by the team’s first-round pick, but if a team can have some late-round hits on guys like Kupp and Prescott, they can have a major impact on a franchise’s fortunes as well.
