If there is one thing we know about Mike Brown and the Cincinnati Bengals, it’s to expect the unexpected. After it seemed as if the club was moving on from 15-year, lame duck head coach, Marvin Lewis, the powers-that-be decided to stick with him through 2019.
Lewis has decided to keep a few of his assistants, but a couple of other long-standing figureheads appear to be moving on elsewhere. Is the simple task of replenishing Lewis’ understudies after losing so many good ones from 2014-2016 the key to a rebound this year?
Scott Schulze talk about the all of the coaching moves, as well as our discussing of how Lewis’ return affects Andy Dalton’s status with the club. The team is waiting to hear the free agency status of AJ McCarron, but is Dalton part of the plan of continuity, or might the Bengals be keeping their options open in a deep draft at the position?
