The rivalry returns.
Week 6 will see the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers face off for the first time since last year’s bloodbath on Monday Night Football. This has become one of the NFL’s fiercest rivalries, and that probably won’t change when the two teams clash in Paul Brown Stadium this weekend.
However, a lot has changed since last year, mainly the records of both teams. The Bengals are 4-1 and are assured of leading the AFC North when Week 5 ends, regardless of whether they win or lose since they already have a head-to-head win over the Baltimore Ravens.
The Steelers, meanwhile, have struggled en route to a 2-2-1 start. This isn’t quite a must-win game for Pittsburgh, but it’s one they badly need to keep pace in the division, especially since they’ve already lost at home to Baltimore and have a tie with the Cleveland Browns.
