The Bengals and Steelers have announced their inactives for their Week 6 matchup.
On Cincinnati’s side, most of these names were already a given since guys like Tyler Kroft s and Giovani Bernard had already been ruled out on Friday.
Cincinnati Bengals Inactives
- RB Giovani Bernard
- WR John Ross
- WR Auden Tate
- OL Billy Price
- OL Cedric Ogbuehi
- TE Tyler Kroft
- DT Adolphus Washington
The big news is William Jackson who was a game-time call due to knee injury. He was limited throughout the week with a big matchup looming with All-Pro receiver Antonio Brown.
Jackson is active, so that’s big news and is a major boost to the Bengals’ secondary.
As for John Ross, he is inactive after being limited in practice this week with a groin injury. He probably was healthy enough to play today, but the Bengals are smart to make sure he’s as close o 100-percent health as possible when he returns.
On the other side, here’s a look at who is out today for the Steelers:
Pittsburgh Steelers Inactives
LB L.J. Fort
QB Mason Rudolph
S Marcus Allen
S Morgan Burnett
OT Zach Banner
WR Darrius Heyward-Bey
DE L.T. Walton
We already knew who Pittsburgh would be without as Darrius Heyward-Bey (ankle) and Morgan Burnett (groin) had been ruled out, while linebacker L.J. Fort (ankle) was listed as doubtful.
